Freshly Made Sketches: Birthday Wishes

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Jen Brum

I wasn't overly creative with this one, but I had just a few scraps of one of my all-time favorite paper pads - so I threw some of the last pieces all into this one sketch!

FMS Birthday Wishes
I've used this flower die with the paper many times. They are totally unrelated to each other, but somehow both companies came out with a three color, blobby looking flower! I did struggle with the sentiment. I love this one, but I'm still just a little unsure whether it's the right look for the paper. I liked it because of the stripes in "you" with the striped paper - and the funkiness of "birthday" with the overall look.  But I think I talked myself into liking it vs. actually liking it.  I know...I overthink things!!
I hope to see you playing along. Be sure to check out the other designers starting on the FMS blog for lots of inspiration!

  1. I'm not a pro like you and all the other bloggers, but I think the sentiment with different fonts looks very suitable with the papers.
