I wasn't overly creative with this one, but I had just a few scraps of one of my all-time favorite paper pads - so I threw some of the last pieces all into this one sketch!

Freshly Made Sketches: Birthday Wishes
It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Jen Brum
I've used this flower die with the paper many times. They are totally unrelated to each other, but somehow both companies came out with a three color, blobby looking flower! I did struggle with the sentiment. I love this one, but I'm still just a little unsure whether it's the right look for the paper. I liked it because of the stripes in "you" with the striped paper - and the funkiness of "birthday" with the overall look. But I think I talked myself into liking it vs. actually liking it. I know...I overthink things!!
I hope to see you playing along. Be sure to check out the other designers starting on the FMS blog for lots of inspiration!

I'm not a pro like you and all the other bloggers, but I think the sentiment with different fonts looks very suitable with the papers.ReplyDelete
Your flower is perfect with that DSP! I love when bits and pieces just come together! Pretty card!ReplyDelete
I like the mix of fonts in the sentiment Kim. It's a playful look that goes well with your mix of fun patterns! Pretty card!ReplyDelete
That flower die and those papers are a match made in heaven. Great job putting them together! Fab card!ReplyDelete
I think the sentiment is spot on. And I love the little banner shape for the sketch. The prints and the flower together are wonderful!!ReplyDelete
