Pinkfresh WCMD Challenge #3: Stripes

The third challenge at Pinkfresh on World Cardmaking Day is to use stripes.  Since I'm now wildly far behind on their challenges (although I do know there's a week to play along - I just have a busy week) - I went for a quick and easy card.  But I think it's my favorite card today.

Pinkfresh WCMD3

Once again, this card is all about a cute die.  This is from a set of six dies and I love them all.  I picked this one just so I could leave a few petals in and pop up the ends.  I threaded some cheerful cardstock colors through and found a Pinkfresh sentiment that fit and would work for my card needs right - mailing to friends and family stuck at home.

  1. Love this card! The strips of color work so beautifully with the kraft card base and that die is gorgeous!

  2. I really like this card. That die is cute and I love how you popped some of the petals up from it.

  3. I came across your card on Pinterest, and immediately pinned it! I absolutely love working with strips of paper, and I save all my scraps, so maybe I can CASE your card, using scraps! This is so clever, the way you put part of the die cut behind one of the strips!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my card! I do get spam comments so your comment will be held until I read it and release it!
