Merry Monday: Tis the Season

The current Merry Monday Christmas Challenge went back to a weekly challenge this week which reminded me that summer is over and Christmas is getting closer.  I glanced through my blog to remind myself what I had done for Christmas this year and, to my horror, other than one recent card, I had to go clear back to January 18th to find a Christmas card.  I'm in trouble.  So the weekly Merry Monday challenge needs to come to my rescue!  Here's this week.

I bought a Penny Black die last year that I hadn't used yet and thought I better use it right away since I have a few new Penny Black Christmas dies on the way here in the mail.  I browsed my dies to find something to pair with it that seemed "jolly".  I had a snowman in mind, but these hats really tickled my funny bone and made me feel jolly!

Be Jolly

One card down!!  Luckily I love Christmas cards, so I can't complain too much that I just have to sit down every single day and make cards.

SUPPLY LIST

The patterned paper is a retired set from Taylored Expressions called Gingerbread Lane.  The colored cardstock are just scraps that matched.

  3. Perfect Christmas card! LOVE those little hats; they are so festive (especially that elves hat!!). Great color palette too. The gray really makes all the colors pop. Great sentiment die. I hope you'll be showing us more using this! Great card. Have a great weekend. Bev
