Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek 2: Happy & Princess

It's day 2 of sneak peeks for the September release from Taylored Expressions!!  Day 2 of our sneak peeks includes a variety of products and I want to focus particularly on the fun sentiments.

Be sure to check all of the other designers starting on the Taylored Expressions blog because there is just too much for one designer to show off in just a few days.

I gasped aloud when I read this next sentiment - He is God - what a fabulous message.  I knew that I wanted to keep the card incredibly simple to keep the full focus on the words.  This release also includes a variety of dies with a princess theme so I pulled out Little Bits - Crown to top the sentiment.

I knew that I wanted to include a cross, but it needed to be subtle.  After I stamped the sentiment I used the Old Rugged Cross dies to cut it right out of the sentiment.  I cut two other crosses out of Earl Grey cardstock and layered them.  I used the Earl Grey to give just a bit more shadow and dimension to the cross.  I put the whole thing back into the original panel.

There are even more great new sentiments with this release - there's a full set of great sayings in fun fonts called C'mon Get Happy.  What I like about this type of sentiment set is they don't need much to look great.  Obviously you can totally decorate them - but I'm showing how just a few die cuts and the sentiments, and it's a complete card!  Here's one with sunshine and clouds.

You are also getting a peek of a sneak peek on this card!  The greenery and the flower will be shown off further tomorrow - but I just couldn't resist using them today with this sentiment.

    Kim, I like all of your cards. Yep, I do. But the first card absolutely, positively blew me away. Such a true sentiment. Oh. My. Goodness. And your design for it is impeccable.     Your first card is incredible Kim!! Love LOVE the sentiment and your use of the cross and crown. These other cards are fabulous too, but the first one is exceptional!!
