I started my card with the sentiment - the sketch is such a great opportunity to showcase those big, bold sentiments that don't always fit on a card. After I picked the sentiment, I didn't really have room for twine or ribbon or anything for the vertical strip - so just did some random scoring - I like how this worked. And I have a big, bold birthday sentiment - I needed some balloons, right??
