Sadly, I really struggle with gold - even on Christmas cards and all of their golden possibilities. I actually cringe a little when I think about using it, consequently the creative process is hampered before it even begins. I don't why I have such a problem with gold. I look at the Merry Monday design cards and they are gorgeous. The cards in the gallery are beautiful too. But when it comes time to create something, I'm stuck.
So I decided just to grab some stamps that I hadn't used yet - stamp some in gold and some in red, leave a lot of fresh white space, and call it good! It turns out - I don't hate it!!
For having a hard time with Gold, you sure did a nice job. It's a lovely card!
