I am a cardstock fanatic. It's actually rare that I use patterned paper, but I do have rainbows of cardstock. One of the truly fun things about getting immersed in a company's products - such as with my new design team roll with
Taylored Expressions - is exploring their range of cardstock.
I also recently tucked into one of my TE orders some Doodlebug Sprinkles - the
Bright Glitter Assortment. Imagine my excitement when I got them and realized that there was TE cardstock colors that worked with these sprinkles!!!
Check out the pretty sparkle and the sweet and "tasty" cardstock. (If you know the names of the cardstock, you'll understand these words: Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Milkshake and Salt Water Taffy. The green is Peapod which is still tasty but not quite in the same category!)
After I had the idea for these banners, I wanted a bold sentiment to go across them. One of the many reasons that I love Taylored Expressions is their commitment to Christian images and sentiments. They have a wonderful variety - including elegant sentiments, funky images and everything you need for Christian holidays. The
Faith stamp is one of their funky images. I love its bold look and fun flower.
Disappointments are just God's way of saying
"I've got something better".
Be patient, live life, have faith.

Sweet card, Kim. Love the names of all those flavors of cardstock! That sentiment is wonderful...a good reminder that sometimes God tells us to 'wait a little while.' Might have to check out the TE cs now...! Have a good week. Bev
