I started this one with the idea of a branch - then maybe birds, pretty leaves, bees or something. As I was browsing my stash with branches, I saw this retired set by Stampin' Up and realized that I had never used it!
I thought about sponging an ombre background but quickly realized I had ombre Stampin' Up paper (also retired!) so I didn't have to get inky. Then finally for the stripe, I found more retired Stampin' Up paper! I have new things I haven't even used but when all out on the retired products for this card!

ReplyDeleteOh your husband is hilarious! I agree though, men!!! Your card is perfect and I'm pretty sure the bird won't eat the bee! Love the ombre paper!
ReplyDeleteI love it when I find things in my stash that I had forgotten about. It's like getting brand new stuff! And I love it even more when I find ombre paper so I don't have to break out the inks! This is lovely. The images remind me that spring is coming!
ReplyDeleteThe white die cuts are beautiful against the blue! Such a pretty card!
