I started this one with the idea of a branch - then maybe birds, pretty leaves, bees or something. As I was browsing my stash with branches, I saw this retired set by Stampin' Up and realized that I had never used it!
I thought about sponging an ombre background but quickly realized I had ombre Stampin' Up paper (also retired!) so I didn't have to get inky. Then finally for the stripe, I found more retired Stampin' Up paper! I have new things I haven't even used but when all out on the retired products for this card!
Dies: Stampin' Up Iconic, Playful Alphabet
Paper: Stampin' Up Oh So Ombre, Brights 6x6 2020 DSP
Other: Studio Katia Jade Crystals
I love the pretty shades of blue and the way you've used so many retired products on one card! Way to use your stash!ReplyDelete
Oh your husband is hilarious! I agree though, men!!! Your card is perfect and I'm pretty sure the bird won't eat the bee! Love the ombre paper!ReplyDelete
I love it when I find things in my stash that I had forgotten about. It's like getting brand new stuff! And I love it even more when I find ombre paper so I don't have to break out the inks! This is lovely. The images remind me that spring is coming!ReplyDelete
The white die cuts are beautiful against the blue! Such a pretty card!ReplyDelete
Very nice. I like the Ombre color scheme and your dies. Got a kick out of what your hubby said.ReplyDelete
Oooh that ombre background is fabulous and perfect with the other elements you've used. Such a gorgeous card!ReplyDelete
