Christmas Kickstart and Color Throwdown: Snowflakes

I knew I was going to play with snowflakes this weekend as I was inspired by the current challenge at Christmas Kickstart.  I didn't know that I was going to create a beach card with those snowflakes using inspiration from the Color Throwdown

Peace on the Beach

It's a unique combination but it totally works for a friend.  She moved from Colorado to South Carolina and she lives on a lake.  We have early morning phone calls while she is sitting on a dock with a cup of coffee.  These soft colors are what I imagine she's seeing.  And if it's not - she does adore the beach so I'm covered!

So Friday I did a big bold snowflake card and today it's the beach! I think I need to pull out some traditional snowy colors in my crafting today - they might help me cool off!  Thanks for the inspiration from these challenges.
