Freshly Made Sketches: Celebrate Me & You

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Jen Mitchell.

I'm feeling lucky...I had been playing around with these dies/stamps on another card and never quite got it together.  Then before I cleaned off my desk, I took a peek at the sketch - and knew right away those same dies/stamps would work!

FMS Celebrate Me & You

I love the fun of the angled panel.  I decided the main panel was perfect for the "celebrate" with the angled panel making it fun for an anniversary.  The soft bokeh seemed like a good fit too!  (The card was simple, but the photography gave me fits.  I hate glittery stuff.  I see others photo it and it looks great, but for me, it does weird things to the focus and the color.)

I hope to see you playing along with us!

I love it when cards come together like that! This die and stamp were perfect for the sketch. And I have the same photography issue with shiny things, especially gold/silver foil paper.

Fantastic take on this sketch, Kim!!! Thanks for the inspiration :) And I'm with you on the photographing glittery things---still trying to figure out how to make that work.

Brilliant take on the sketch, Kim! I veered away because I only saw 'panel'...didn't even cross my mind to use sentiments! And that, my friend, is why your creativity is so incredibly inspiring...

Oh, what a great take on the sketch! And I totally hear you on photographing glittery stuff. I don't think I'll ever master that skill!
