It's time for a new sketch at
Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by
Narelle.
My son is heading into his finals of his freshman year at college. The end of his first semester just about did him in - so I wanted to send a little pick-me-up. The card isn't it - but the gift card inside for late-night pizza and coffee will do the job perfectly!!
I found the sentiment right away and started browsing my stash of coffee cups. I was thrilled when I saw that the sentiment fit inside this one! I found some masculine papers and picked those that seemed the most "sciency". I thought these looked like graph paper and molecular structures (OK, it might be a stretch!) I thought the matching dots would represent heat, but now that I'm looking at it, it seems like bubbles - perhaps from something alcoholic. I'm hoping he doesn't see it that way!!!
I hope to see you playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches - I love seeing what everybody does with it. Isn't it amazing how different each card is with the same starting point?!
SUPPLY LIST
I love this card! As usual, everything is so well thought out and works together perfectly. I'm sure your son will not only appreciate the gift cards, but the thought you put into this beauty as well.
