I also wanted to celebrate my friend's decision to leave a job at which she has been unhappy for awhile. It's always a hard decision to venture away from the known into the unknown of a job hunt. She'll be better off in the long run and I wanted her to know I'm celebrating along with her.
I paged through my stamps and came across Paper Smooches Best Buds which seemed like the perfect look for her. I have used the mason jar and flowers from the set a number of times, but hadn't used just the banner. I cut and colored the banner then got a little stumped until CAS(E) this Sketch inspired me with a banner across a wreath. I didn't have any kind of a wreath stamp or die that had the same sweet look as the Paper Smooches banner so I did a circle of dots for a more contemporary look.
Super sweet take on the sketch, Kim!ReplyDelete
This is a perfect sweetie for your friend's situation. I am sure she will find something better in the long run. (You can empathise!) I am finally catching up after our holiday ... so can't comment on all I have missed ... but I did enjoy scrolling back to see what you have been up to! Love what you did with the balloons on your recent post. Hugs xxReplyDelete
This is just as sweet as can be!!ReplyDelete
Great card, Kim, this is so sweet! I love the colors and simplicity of the banner and the circled dots are perfect! Friends that go way back with our families as the kids grow are the best kind. Yours will love this card!ReplyDelete
Always a hard decision, but one that reaps great rewards :) I made the decision to leave two jobs I hade (one was after 7 years one after 6 months) and never regretted it. Sure she will appreciate this lovely card and your support :)ReplyDelete
