Party Hats; All in a Row

There is a new set at The Alley Way Stamps called Wish Big that includes big and bold birthday images - absolutely perfect for paper piecing.  I had this strange piece of paper in a 6x6 pad that I had no idea how to use - so I started stamping party hats!

Paper for Hats
Then I lined them all up in a row and added some Stickles on top for a festive card!!
Party Hats in a Row

I am playing along with this week's sketch at unscripted sketches.  I love chevrons but I thought this row of hats gave the same zigzag appearance!!

Thank you SO much to all of you who have replied to my Michaels survey.  I have SO much great information.  By the time I am done with my marketing plan for my class, Michaels will want to hire me.  Of course, they will need unlimited financing to make all of the changes that I am going to suggest that they make - but that's their problem!!  I will be working on my report over the next two weeks - so if you have anything you want to add about Michaels (see yesterday's survey), I would love to hear from you!

  2. What a fun card! Don't you just love it when that odd piece of paper turns into something as cute as your card?! Clever. Love this. Bev

  3. What a clever way to use those fun party hats ... love that little bow ... so glad you joined us at Unscripted Sketches.

  4. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I love this card! The paper, the party hats, the colours, the pom-poms = winning combination! I ordered Wish Big and seeing this, I'm extra excited for it to arrive (still another week or so...). I feel a 'scrap-lift' urge coming on, so I hope you don't mind! Cute+++

  5. GREAT use of the paper Kim! Love the bow on a a single hat and their sparkly tops. Very cute!

  7. Oh my goodness...this is beyond clever Kim! It sure takes the guess work out of trying to find coordinating papers and also a great way to make use of 'strange' papers! I love it when crafters can look beyond the sketch and create something totally unique. It's great having you play along with our sketch this week at US.

  8. What a great take on the sketch! I love to see people getting creative with the sketches! Another great one!

Thank you for joining us at Unsripted Sketches! :)

  9. Ooh ... clever use of the 'odd' paper and what a fantastic idea for the sketch, Kim ... love the glittery bobbles on the tops! Anita :)
