Love (and Hearts) are in the Air

I got this falling hearts die JUST to make this card.

This die cost $23 (not counting the shipping charges!)

You are going to be seeing this die on a lot of other cards, year-round, because I have never spent this much on a single card.

Love Is In the Air

But isn't it nice that this very simple card looks extra special because of the falling hearts???!!!

  • Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps Lighter Than Air
  • Paper: Stampin' Up Island Indigo
  • Ink: Memento black and Copics
  • Accessories: Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts die, Stampin' Up Island Indigo ribbon, My Favorite Things Fishtail dies

  2. Definitely a fabulous die and a fabulous card, as well. Those hearts make a wonderful background for your hot air balloon. I absolutely love the bit of twine trailing off the balloon. :) Ann

  6. Beautiful...we try not to think about stuff like that...I once spent 70$ to get a Cricut cart that had the right font to put on a M&M...sick! Lee-Ann :)

  7. Cute card, love the die! On another note...you are looking at this all wrong...you did not spend $23 to make one card....you wisely invested in a die that you can use on many cards....so really only merely pennies for this card! :)

  14. I once read a comment on SCS that each card really costs us about $300 if you add up all the equipment and supplies that went into the actual creation of the card! So $23 sounds like a bargain to me!

  15. This is absolutely fabulous, Kim! LOVE the hearts falling down your "sky" and the balloon image is colored gorgeously! I think I "need" that die. Can I justify $23?! Oh, dear...I hope so! ;)
