It's day 1 of sneak peeks for the April release from Taylored Expressions!! This release bring products for all the wonderful spring celebrations, along with spring flowers and some great basic stamps and dies. It's been a fun release to work with. Today I am stitching with friends!
Be sure to check out all of the other designers starting on the Taylored Expressions blog because there is just too much for one designer to show off in just a few days.
All the products that I have used are linked at the bottom, but remember that new products aren't available until Thursday, April 7, 7 a.m. PST.

Quilted Cutting Plate
Just look at this amazing
Quilted Cutting Plate - a full-size cardfront die! I used it in the easiest possible way with a single sheet of patterned paper behind it. But how fun would it be to cut lots of little pieces for a colorful quilt?! I'm excited to use it in so many ways. A nice warm get-well card. Winter cards. And in this case - a friendship card to a fellow quilter. (Although be careful with quilters. In this case, I used the new
Little Bits - Sewing Machine as an inlaid die cut - but if your friend is a hand-stitcher do
not put a sewing machine on your card.)
I loved the stitched detail.
I used the sewing machine as an inlaid die cut so that I could stamp right on top of it. This release also includes dies for a needle and a spool of thread and dies for buttons. You could go a lot of different ways with this entire product group.
(Keep scrolling down - there's another card after this product release. And remember - the new products aren't available until Thursday.)
Stitch by Stitch 2
Continuing with the warmth of sewing and quilting and stitching - this release includes Stitch by Stitch 2. You might remember Stitch by Stitch which included a heart, an owl, a cat and many great sentiments. Stitch by Stitch 2 expands the collection with this flower, and also coffee cups, a house and many great images and sentiments for mother's day. When the first Stitch by Stitch came out in December, I white embossed the image on this card. For today's card, I wanted to use markers to add different colors.
I love this sentiment. What a great way to just say "hi" and catch up with someone who loves stitching in any way.
Be sure to check out all of the other designers' blogs - there is simply too much in each release for one person to show it all off! And come back tomorrow for some spring flowers.
OH Kim! These are wonderful. Love this release anyway but I love it more with every sample I see. Great work!
