keepin' a float?

I am so grateful to all of you who have come up with ideas over the last few days.  I've never had to look for options for my cards and I am amazed at the variety of needs!!  One comment did force me to look close to home.  She told about a family tradition of sitting down on Sunday with her children and figuring out who needed some attention - then they create and send cards.  What a wonderful, caring family!

So today's card is still focused on all of those hurting in relation to the problems at the church.  I hope it will bring a smile!

Keepin' a float??

The fish were inspired by this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge:

The layout comes from Pals Paper Arts:

  • Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps Sea Mates
  • Paper: Stampin' Up Pacific Point
  • Ink: Memento black, Copics
  • Accessories: Washi tape: Queen and Co. Trendy Tape, gems colored with Copics, Papertrey Ink Impression Plate, Ranger Glossy Accents on eyes

Great card...perfect for the current situation, brings a smile! I read that comment, too, which made me think we should be doing the same thing as a family...another great way to use your cards!

Hi Kim,
I love your cards, your blog is a daily spot to stop and read. My heart is hurting for you and your situation. I have been there and as others have said, trust in the Lord, He will call you where you need to be and where you can be fed. I can't recommend a church in the area but I can recommend Bible Study Fellowship as an independent, interdenominational study and there are 2 in Littleton and one in Centennial. It was a spiritual life saver when I was in your position and remains a wonderful supplement to my church life today. You can get all the info at I know this may seem a bit strange way of connecting...I would think twice, but check out the website. Whatever you do, I will be praying for the Lord to guide you and the family to the right place of worship. Everyone who receives one of your cards will indeed be touched, they are beautiful.
