I don't use purples or lavenders much. I don't have anything against them but they just don't make it onto my cards. So I struggled a little this week but finally decided a simple friendship card would be perfect!
The layout came from this week's sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.
- Stamps: Stampin' Up True Friend
- Paper: Stampin' Up Wisteria Wonder CS, Concord Crush dsp from hostess mini pad
- Ink: Stampin' Up Concord Crush
- Accessories: Stampin' Up Apothecary Accents dies, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack
Love all the layers Kim. Purple is not usually a big fav of mine but your card looks great!, I love the different shades together. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty monochromatic layers! Thanks for playing with us this week at Create with Connie & Mary!
ReplyDeleteNo struggles apparent here Kim, looks wonderful to me! Love your sparkly medallion. Have a delightful weekend ;)
ReplyDeleteThis looks great to me. Love the sparkly medallion and tag style sentiment. x
ReplyDeleteI think you have rocked the purple my friend, the pretty sketch looks good with the purple against the white background. The glimmer accents are wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Kim. You've managed those purples well LOL. In the 2 years Concord Crush was current, I think I maybe used 2 sheets. Like you, I don't know why the purples don't feature on my cards.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Kim! I love that background paper - so elegant and rich looking! Great details on this, too! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteI love these colours, they're so crisp and fresh against the white. xx

ReplyDeleteI never thought of myself as a purple lover, but you just might have changed my mind! You've combined just the right amount of color and white space to make a card that really has a "wow" factor. So glad you played along with us this week at Create With Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I love these colors and can't wait to play. What you've done is really great!
ReplyDeleteI laughed at your "to add some interest ...!" You silly goose, as if your card wasn't interesting before the darling clear button and bow were added!
Love the pattern paper you chose! Great take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Anni
