Merry Monday: Happy & Merry

Last night, I unexpectedly found myself with an evening with everybody else out of the house!! Alone time...in my craft corner...heaven!!  I decided to play along with Merry Monday.

I found a set in my unused stash that has been there for so long that it's been retired by the company! I remember having to have it and then I never, every used it. It's just a series of holiday words in bold fonts - it was Holiday Subway Art by My Favorite Things.

MM Happy Merry

I played around with a variety of embellishments. Sequins were too small. I tried enamel dots but couldn't match the colors. I tried snowflakes and Santa hats. I finally just plopped a frame on it (it's brand new and not retired!)  I still feel like there's something missing - but it's flat and will mail easily!

SUPPLY LIST

The stamps are My Favorite Things Holiday Subway Art (retired).

I don't think it needs anything else! These bold sentiments are awesome and so is the frame! Thanks, Kim, for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!

It's absolutely perfect! And I can so relate to stamps that I had to have which sit unused in my stash! I can see why you'd want this one. I really like these colors.

The frame was the perfect finishing touch! Love how you set it in so the colours were exposed around the edges. Gorgeous. Hugs xx
