Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Green

It's time for a new challenge at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Green.

I was working on this challenge this past weekend after it had occurred to me that I had a lot of Easter cards to make.  Although the image on this challenge didn't say "Easter" to me - I knew the word "green" would work.  New growth, new life - all perfect for Easter.  Then I found a palm die that I had forgotten I had and I knew it was meant to be!

Things took a bit of a left turn at that point.  I planned on a green palm.  I didn't want a solid palm - so I tried brushing on various greens, sponging greens and I almost broke out the watercolors when I realized that my problem was that my greens were just too heavy for the card.  I wanted a light and airy card. So I cut the palm out of white and brushed some limeade on the background.  It ended up not fully representative of the word "green" but I was definitely inspired by it!!

I hope to see you playing along with the "green" challenge at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!
