It's time for a new challenge at the
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Pretty Pumpkins.

I absolutely adore the patterns on these pumpkins! As luck would have it, one of the many fall sets sitting in my not-yet-used stash is a set of pumpkins by Papertrey Ink that are patterned!!
I'm really late to the watercoloring trend. I so like the look of a soft watercolor wash background, but had just never took the time to figure it all out. Now I seem to use it routinely. It seems strange to say but for fairly clean cards, I think a watercolor wash is a perfect background because it makes the stamps stand out without adding too much pattern. I'm still fighting on every card to let go of my need for control. I wanted so badly to do this one again because the wash needs to go more to the left; and I'm not in love with the way the gold and gray blend; and I'd love more of those water lines that give such depth. Oh well. Lack of control is the hardest part!
I hope to see you playing along with your pretty pumpkins - or with whatever else you are inspired to do with this photo!
