Freshly Made Sketches: Gridlocked

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by the incomparable Linda Callahan.

I took one look at this sketch and headed right to my not-yet-used stash because I knew that I had a set full of squares.

Gridlocked Thanks

This is a great sketch to keep handy, particularly if you are like me and have some difficulty using bold and busy patterned paper.  I could plop a piece behind my image panel - so that all of the color and fun patterns are there - but it's still a very clean card!

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team inspiration at Freshly Made Sketches and also head over to Linda's blog, Stampin' Seasons, to see her amazing work!

  2. I love your cards. Pretty much all of them. This one is definitely on my 'love' list. You've created a sweetly CAS card with bright colors and patterns, and yet it retains that lovely white space. Great take on the sketch, and in perfect colors too. Fantastic. Bev

  3. The bright colors and the thanks stamp are fabulous! And your idea to add busy papers behind the main image layer is good advice.

  6. Your thanks panel is sheer delight - and yes, the patterned paper most certainly 'attracts' rather than 'detracts'. CAS-ilicious, my friend...and I adore it!
