Freshly Made Sketches: Scoops of Thanks

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Narelle Farrugia.


I knew right away what I wanted to do with the circle element.  I've had some dies sitting in my never-used stash that were made for this sketch - Stitchable Dot Circles by My Favorite Things!  I wasn't sure what to do next, but as I was flipping through the never-used stash - I saw these Reverse Confetti ice cream dies!

The coordinating sentiments with the ice cream dies were all a bit big for this sketch, but I solved it by tucking the banner under the ice cream.  I really love these dies - they have that slightly funky look that Reverse Confetti does so well.

I hope to see you playing along!  I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the circles and rectangles.

    I think this may qualify as the most creative and clever use of the sketch this week. I love the dotted circle and the adorable ice cream cone. Very fun, Kim!

    That ice cream is just the cutest thing and the dot circle die is very, very cool and might have to go on my wish list :) Such a fun and fabulous card.
