I have mixed feelings about this card. I like the idea of a vivid scene on a white card, but it just came up too dark. I'd have another try at it, but I am handicapped by the fact that about 3/4's of my Copics are packed in card kits to take up to church cardmaking! I also had a very tough time getting the sky to blend and getting the barn to look rustic. But...I like the concept enough to post it!
I'm also going to add this to the Less Is More challenge to get 1000 posts!
- Stamps: Stampin' Up Country Pleasures, sentiment unknown
- Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cover Stock
- Ink: Memento black and copics
- Accessories: red and olive stickes, b/w gingham
It looks great Kim, we are always our own severest critics!ReplyDelete
The ribbon is particularly in keeping with the theme.
Thanks so much, you are doing us proud.

Very pretty, Kim!! Reminds me of home in Buffalo...lots of countryside farms with silos, and pumpkins and apples for sale at this time of year. Your card is simply lovely, wonderful job with your coloring!!ReplyDelete
I think it;s fAB Kim, the image reminds me of Clarice CliffReplyDelete
Love the sideways sentiment and ribbon

Gorgeous colouring - such rich colours.ReplyDelete
I think you're being much too hard on yourself, Kim. This is absolutely stunning...love the high contrast between the brilliant coloring and white card base.ReplyDelete
It's beautiful, Kim. The coloring is gorgeous. Love the little ribbon treatment. AnnReplyDelete

I think your colouring is gorgeous. I especially love the shading on the hills. The tiny bling on the tree and the gingham ribbon are the perfect touches!ReplyDelete
