Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Tropical Trip

It's time for a new challenge at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Tropical Trip!!

I really don't have tropical flowers in my collection, but I had the fun Petals 'n Posies set by Reverse Confetti out on my desk and decided to give it a try in the colors in the photo.  The sentiment comes from the Here We Go set.  The sentiment also needed a heart and since it was turning into a Reverse Confetti day, I used the woodgrain heart from Forever Fall.

My Heart Is With You

I'm feeling the tropics, what about you?  Check out the rest of the inspiration from the design team.  You can find them all at Curtain Call or they are listed below.  Then be sure to play along!  We love to see your work, so the it's technically an "anything goes" challenge, but there is the Tropic Trip inspiration graphic to challenge you!

  1. Such a pretty card Kim. Love the cluster of flowers. The heat embossing looks great on the bright colors.

  6. Yep...got that tropical feeling going on. All of us out here in blogland should "rent" a tropical island for a week...That would be fun! This is a fun card, and reminds me of my trip to Jamaica years ago. Just love this. Bev

  8. Fantastic balance of colours (as always)! Am looking forward to summer ... it is a miserable cold wet day here today! This certainly gives me a summer vibe. Hugs xxx

  9. Tropical colour flowers, that charming woodgrain heart, a cluster arrangement of prettiness = one gorgeous card! Inspired and inspiring! Thanks for the reassurance about distress inks/markers - that I don't 'have' to embrace them! We are not getting along *grin* Wish there was a way to 'trial' products for a while before purchasing them - sort of library style. Borrow and return, or borrow and buy. Silly concept, but still, saving $$ is a good thing! Then I'd have more to spend on stuff I really like!
