This is my second post today.
It's just a short scroll down for the Avery Elle blog hop!!
There's a great sketch today at CAS(E) this Sketch
that will allow you to bring out your favorite border stamps or dies.
I settled on my new Peek-a-Boo Chevrons from My Favorite Things.
I was recently commenting on another blog about the difficulty of graphic cards. My comment was about the need to be perfect on a graphic card - everything has to be lined up or it's noticeable. Sure enough - there's something not perfectly straight on this and it bugs me (not quite enough to go to the work of cutting all of these again - although I do have the new magnetic Sizzix platform and it's awesome!!) The yellow strip is leaning ever so slightly to the right. I think if I took a ruler, I wouldn't have increments small enough to measure it - but my eye sees it!
I sure hope you have fun with this one!! I look forward to seeing what you create!
I'm also submitting this to Simon Says Anything Goes.

I love your card! The colors, the chevrons, the sentiment. Well the whole thing just drew my eye. Your "leaning" chevron cracks me up as this happens to me all the time. I look at something and it's just a hair off this way or that way. Makes me crazy but I don't want to redo it either :-) I don't think anyone would have noticed on your card but you. It's great!ReplyDelete
Perfectly designed, love this cool graphic card!!!ReplyDelete
Aww...Kim! This is fabulous the colors and how you die-cut its just perfect!ReplyDelete
I would never have noticed a lean and really don't see it now. But then, I rarely have things positioned perfectly. I decided not to let it drive me crazy. Love these bright colors with the black! Stunning!ReplyDelete
Fab...I'm like you...when I make something, my eye goes directly to every flaw...most people don't notice.ReplyDelete
This is fabulous, Kim!ReplyDelete
I think this turned out awesome, but I totally understand about something bugging you on a card...happens to me all the time. Love the bold colors you chose and this is my favorite interpretation of the sketch.ReplyDelete
I love this Kim! I think it's perfect the way it's non symetrical......it adds character and looks great!ReplyDelete
Wonderfully sharp graphic design! And a little leaning can be a good thing.....just ask the Tower of Pisa! :)ReplyDelete
Love the pops of colour...your graphic card is amazing, Kim!ReplyDelete
Great graphic card. Think chevrons are going to be around for awhile still?ReplyDelete
Such a cool, graphic card, Kim ... brilliant colour palette ... and I wouldn't have seen a lean without you saying! Anita :)ReplyDelete
Oh.... such a crisp, clean, graphic card. Beautiful!ReplyDelete
Love the bright colors and graphic design :)ReplyDelete
When you said there was something wrong, I noticed it right away, but if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have thought you meant to do it. Either way, this is a fabulous card.ReplyDelete
What a fun card Kim. Love your take on the sketch... the colors and candy dots are so cheerful.ReplyDelete
