Thanksgiving Felt Pumpkins

You can tell that I am coming up to a church cardmaking gathering (tomorrow night) because I am quickly putting out fairly simple cards for our special holiday session!!

This card was simple, but it uses one of my new favorites - felt.  Autumn is such a perfect season for felt - it's so soft and seems so warm.

I haven't always liked felt - probably because I was picking it up for a dime at the big craft stores.  Then I finally invested in some quality felt - it cuts so smoothly and holds up so well!  My favorites are the felt at Papertrey Ink (which also has the big advantage of matching their papers and buttons as on my card!) and the felt from Giant Dwarf - I got a full sampler pack with color chart.

  • Paper: Papertrey Ink Fine Linen and Orange Zest
  • Accessories: Papertrey Ink Felt: Fine Linen and Orange Zest and a button in Orange Zest, Papertrey button twine, Nestabilities Pumpkins, Cuttlebug embossing, ribbon from Joann
