The first card uses the colors from Dynamic Duos. There is a butterfly option but I didn't have butterflies in my Stampin' Up NBUS!
Then I realized that I should have gone with new colors too. I saw the challenge at CAS on Sunday which is Kraft and Twine and decided not only would it pair well with one of the new colors but it would be a nice look for the gingham wheel.
- Stamps: Stampin' Up Flower Shop, Gingham wheel, Banner Greetings
- Paper: white and black
- Ink: Stampin' Up Calypso Coral, black
- Accesories: Stampin' Up Pansy Punch, Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangles, Hobby Lobby brand brad, misc twine
Strawberry Birthday:
- Stamps: Stampin' Up Flower Shop, Gingham wheel, Banner Greetings
- Paper: Stampin' Up Crumb Cake, white
- Ink: Stampin' Up Strawberry Slush
- Accessories: Stampin' Up Pansy Punch, Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangles, Papertrey Ink Kraft button, May Arts twine
Fabulous CAS cards Kim - my favourite is the Kraft with Calypso Coral - a great colour combination. Love your layout too.
ReplyDeleteI have the Flower Shop bundle which is still part of my NBUS! Your gorgeous card has inspired me to "get cracking"!!

ReplyDeleteHi Kim, both versions of your card are so pretty! Really cute flowers! I just noticed that the first one would work for my Nectarine challenge too.
ReplyDeleteSo totally can relate. Trying hard not to buy ANYTHING new until early October...way hard! Love your cards, and that gingham roller has me drooling! Hope I can hold out till Oct! Those flowers are cool, and I love the little harlequin brad too. Seriously fun cards. Bev

ReplyDeleteKim...both cards are fabulous. That gingham is wonderful, so clever to have a stamp wheel for that, you can create any color gingham you what for any card...such a fun idea. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love that you showed us two versions of this design! Both are fabulous, but I especially love the way the white gingham looks on kraft and the way you threaded the twine through the banner on the second one.
ReplyDeleteLove your card for Dynamic Duo's colors this week, Kim! That little twine bow is awesome and I love the gingham edge! WTG!
ReplyDeleteSuper clean and sweet!
