Seriously??!! It's only October 5th!!
So I combined a very elegant color combination from Just Add Ink:
And the challenge from CASology:
And I came up with this fairly strange and unusual card!!
- Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps Tropic Topic, Alphabet Soup, Trees Company (the bird and music notes) and Party Animal (the hat)
- Paper: Stampin' Up Summer Starfruit, Basic Gray
- Ink: Memento black, copics
- Accessories: Cuttlebug border folder, MME Twine
Cute card, the color combo works perfect for it! No snow here yet...but the weather people do seem to keep mentioning it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...so cute! I'll agree that snow would throw you off...I live in Canada...Ontario...we have no snow. Lee-Ann :)
ReplyDeleteParts of Ontario have snow, apparently, but not where I am (or Lee-Ann) (thank goodness!!) Love the colours and the fun images on this! Thanks for coming along to the Zoo with CASology, Kim!

ReplyDeleteWanna trade that snow for our 90% humidity?
ReplyDeleteLove that sweet image and cute sentiment and that dotted chevron embossing is so cool! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
I was so excited to see your swing! We have a swing seat on our front porch & it is my favourite place in the whole world! Now it is warming up ... I am able to spend more time on it! I often take Bree out & give her lunch out there! Perhaps we were twins in another life. You certainly got the card making genes though! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteOh that's so cute Kim! Loving those fun images and sentiment and that great Chevron texture too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at Just Add Ink.
I love that embossed strip at the bottom and sounds like a Happy Birthday at the zoo!

ReplyDeleteI swore I commented on this before...maybe I was cruisin' around late one night and saw it. I am now seeing it again and i think it is HILARIOUS! Great CAS card, and the sentiment is a sweet pun if I ever heard one!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a favourite birthday card I received from my Mum and Dad when I was young. It had a hippo, a bird and two ewes on it. Love your take on it too. Fresh and fun. x
