A few weeks ago, I was thrilled to be a guest at the Flower challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown with this card. But I actually made a different card first...
I like this card, but I just wasn't feeling it for the challenge. I think mainly because it was record-setting heat outside my window and these rich and classic colors just weren't calling my name. (The card I posted had a lot of white and softer colors.) I've mentioned my friend Carol a few times this week - that she was worried she wasn't getting emails with my posts but in reality, I just hadn't been posting - so just for her, I decided I should post this card this week!
The "JOY" comes from The Stamp Market. I replaced the "O" with a poinsettia from Holiday Blooms by Spellbinders. There are so many more flowers in the set, but I like just this simple arrangement to mirror the paper in the background.
Thanks to Carol for my inspiration to post it!
SUPPLY LIST

Pretty card. I like the poinsettia for the O.
ReplyDeleteYour other card is delightful with the fresh, modern look, but I do really love this one! I've always wanted to replace the O with a poinsettia, so maybe this is the year! Love how it goes with that beautiful paper!
