It seems like half of my department at the office has birthdays in May so I've been heavy into birthday cards. For most of them, I have to stay fairly "generic" because I don't know the person well enough to be able to tailor it for them. This is an example. I figured I couldn't go wrong with balloons!

Freshly Made Sketches: Birthday Balloons
It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Jennifer Timko.
I found the paper - retired Stampin' Up. Then I found balloon dies from Lil' Inkers of the right size and look (sponged to mirror the balloons on the paper). Then I wanted a sentiment that was one line but still slightly quirky and I found that from Papertrey Ink! The banner is my go-to banner stacklet from Taylored Expressions. I'm not sure I could have fit many more companies on my card!!
I hope to see you playing along!
SUPPLY LIST
The paper is from the retired paper pack from Stampin' Up called Birthday Bash - which amused me when I picked the sentiment and it's from PTI's Birthday Bash!!

Balloons are always perfect for birthdays! You used one of my favorite DSPs! Cute card!
ReplyDeleteFAB!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that you make and give cards to your co-workers. If I did that here, they'd think I was crazy, but then I do work in a male-dominated environment and birthdays aren't even acknowledged :) Anyway, fabulous card - those balloon dies are perfect with that paper.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! The balloons are perfect for a generic card! Love the mix of colours! The sequins are a fabulous touch. I love sequins far too much!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous Kim! I love your fun birthday card with that fab DSP!
ReplyDeleteLove the balloons and these colors! The banner is perfect for the sketch!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is awesome Kim!
ReplyDeleteYour colleagues must be thrilled to receive cards from you: pretty (or handsome, as the case may be) and ever so thoughtful! The balloons on this one: fabulous!
