I always have get well cards and thinking of you cards ready in my stash. I want to be ready if I hear someone isn't well - because I know for me, there is no better medicine than knowing that people care!
This is a nice basic "thinking of you" that I can use for many situations. The sentiment is from the new In & Out - Get Well which quite helpfully includes coordinating sentiments for the outside of the card and for the inside!! I added some love and hugs on the inside.
There are two other new products on this card. This release includes a number of new additions to the Bloomers line of dies. I used the new Bloomers 7 trio - the big flower, the middle flower and the center. Aren't they a nice arrangement of layers? I like them in these soft pinks but they'd be fun in bold colors too! I also used the new Quaterfoil Embossing Folder. This is going to be one of the my favorites - it's subtle and lovely and adds so much interest!!

SUPPLY LIST
Before I share a peek at another product, I'm excited to tell you that Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE blog to answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!
Now I have another card using the In & Out - Get Well set but with an entirely different look. I love the font on this sentiment! I used the previously release Frame in Frame Cutting Plate and I cut an inset frame out of the top panel and layered some polka-dotted paper behind it.
Tomorrow I will be showing off butterflies with a Mother's Day card and a celebration card! Be sure to head over to the TE blog for links to the rest of the creative team and to enter the question of the day contest!

ReplyDeleteAdorable cards Kim! And yes, to know you're being thought of when you're under the weather is good medicine!
ReplyDeleteOh Kim! I love everything about your first card - that means DH's wallet is in trouble, lol!! That font is fabulous, and I just love a good font. Sweetly subtle embossing...not too much, not too little, just right! But. It's that stethoscope that has me happy dancing. Two of our sons are doctors, and I can see more than a few cards for them with this! Can't wait for the full release!!! Guess I'd better make all of DH's favorite suppers for a while...then he might not notice my credit card bill, hahahaha! Bev
