I love this sketch because it allows for any die or image. I have a couple of sets that I got to make cards for my son during his first year in college. He embraces his inner nerd and is proudly part of the Natural Sciences community and dorm at his school!

Freshly Made Sketches: My Nerd
It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Amy O'Neill.
My son is currently a physics major but he hasn't been as thrilled as he thought. I think it's because he had a high school teacher that was truly amazing - they did many real life experiments, many of which I'm not convinced were entirely safe - but they certainly sparked enthusiasm in teenage boys!! His first year of college physics has been a little more dry. If this particular major doesn't stick, I wanted to get this stamp with his physics book used while it still applied.
Thanks to Amy for her inspiration!! I hope to see you playing along!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! And the light hanging off the baker's twine is so clever!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this is so CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteDH and I are both nerds...History nerds. But we're good with that, lol! LOVE this card, Kim. It is fantastic!!! That fun image, and those black stripes are spot on. And paired with the pretty aqua, well, it's perfection. What a great card, and I think your son will love it! Very cool!! Bev
ReplyDeleteI love this, Kim! I have a daughter who would love this stamp. And I love the aqua with the black and white stripes.
ReplyDeleteOh my I love this! So cute and I love the colors! I took one physics class in college and that was enough for me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card! Love that little guy. I wish I had your son's teacher when I took physics in high school. I can honestly say that class was the worst one I ever took!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! That is the perfect sentiment and I love that little guy! Great colouring! Love that background paper! I didn't like high school physics. Our teacher used to eat onions like apples and he wasn't very nice. I did thoroughly enjoy university physics though!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic card, Kim! Love that fun guy and the wonderful bright colors.
ReplyDeleteAs a previous nerd and mother of nerds (I hope), I cannot even tell you how much I love this!! Totally adorable and such fun for your son.
