All Wrapped Up is a cute little die set with a variety of present shapes, lids and bows. I immediately decided to put them under a tree, then I had the idea to go very graphic using the new Twinkling Holiday Embossing Folder.
I used a strip of the new Playful Patterns-Holiday Paper Pack and pulled my colors from that. I built a variety of packages using some of the dies in unique ways. The little red package with the blue bow was actually designed as a lid and the long pink package is the same as the tall red package - I had to trim the bow to make it fit.
There are so many uses for these presents throughout the year. I was a bit surprised when I was indexing these new products (yes, I'm obsessive, I have all of my dies organized in a computer file by what they are) - I only have one other present and it's also by Taylored Expressions, Little Bits-Present. Now I have an entire set for all of my needs!
There's another sneak peek after this supply list - keep reading!
Before I get onto plaid underwear(!) - let me tell you about release week prizes.
Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog to answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!
OK - I've hinted twice now - I did a card with plaid underwear using the Plaid Embossing Folder and the perfect sentiment from Spoiler Alert!!!
I even amused myself with this card. Wanna see the stylish undies??
When you have a sentiment like the underwear sentiment from Spoiler Alert, what else are you going to do? I found a pair of swim trunks in the die set released this summer, On the Line Beach Cutting Plate, and decided they could be underwear. I then had a fabulous time lining up the little undies on the plaid embossing folder to get different patterns. I put the whole thing on a long tag (actually the Mark Your Spot Bookmark trimmed at the bottom) and backed it with some more plaid embossing.
This is destined for one of my teenagers - it will depend who is on my naughty and nice list at the time - along with a few packages of actual underwear. I'll only get a roll of their eyes - but that's a worthy goal when you are dealing with male teenagers!
Be sure to check out all of the other designers starting on the Taylored Expressions blog because there is just too much for one designer to show off in just a few days. All of the products that I have used are linked at the bottom of this post, but remember that new products aren't available until Thursday, October 6th, 7 a.m. PST.
Laughing myself silly with your fabulous plaid underwear card, Kim! LOVE it...and the first one, too! Ingenious...just absolutely ingenious! The fact that it's snowing here (just a few flakes, but snow nonetheless) while I'm gazing at your amazing cards, just adds to my festive spirit. Your showcases have been awesome and this as a finale...Too. Much. Fun!
