Yesterday I used Papertrey Ink's Twig Wreath to make an actual wreath but I had commented that I had purchased the set more for the flowers and other builder elements, not the wreath. I also fell in love with Leigh Penner's
use of the flowers along with the set Stacked Sentiments (which allowed me to justify the purchase of that set too!)
Then I checked
Merry Monday's newest challenge - green, pink and white - and I knew what I was going to do!
I grabbed a piece of my favorite Christmas paper from this year - it's the plaid from Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack which happens to be pink and green (hopefully the fine group at Merry Monday will forgive me for the pop of burgundy). I matched up inks - and this is what I ended up with.
I do wish that I wouldn't have used the very lightest pink in the big flower - it gets a little lost - although it's a little better in this close-up.
