Freshly Made Sketches: Happy Birthday with Vases

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches!

I was flipping through my stamps and saw a set of flowers and vases and immediately envisioned a simple stamped vase or pot of flowers sitting on that banner.  But the particular set that I was looking at was too big, so I went looking and do you know what I am sadly lacking in my stamp collection??  Pots or vases of flowers!!  

I actually made this card last week for a dear friend whose birthday is today!!  (Happy Birthday Carol!)  We decided last Thursday night that we would get together the next morning for coffee and for me to say "happy birthday" so I had to move fast on a card - and the idea of a pot of flowers was just perfect for her.  So I rummaged through my dies and, although it's not quite was I was imaging, came up with this simple scene.

One vase looked a little lost, so I added a couple of empty vases to the scene using various thicknesses of foam tape.

I hope to see you play along this week.  Notice that the circle on the graphic is actually labelled as any shape - so have some fun with it!!

The sentiment comes from a retired Stampin' Up set called Wishes Your Way.  The paper is from the Neutral pattern pack from Stampin' Up, but the older version with different patterns.
