It's day 3 of sneak peeks for the May release from
Taylored Expressions! Today I have a card that is for the Chief of the Charcoal and another for the Son of a King!! All of the new products that you see today will be available tomorrow. Be sure to check out each of the creative team members' blogs for all of the sneak peeks - starting with the
Taylored Expressions blog.
There is already such a fun collection of grilling and outdoor/summer food die cuts. Now Taylored Expressions has added
Little Bits - Grill Tools. (If you have a grill and you have a burger - you need some tools!!)
I used the Mini Colorblock Cutting Plate and a sentiment from the original Punny Man. (Punny Man 2 is being sneak peeked today on other designers' blogs - and I'm using it tomorrow.) The burger, soda and grill are all current dies. The star is another sneak peek! It's the Pinhole Star Stacklets - with many sizes in the set - how fun would it be to stitch this up?!
Here's the supply list for this card and
be sure to keep reading for a chance at prizes and for another sneak peek!

Before I share a peek at another product, I'm excited to tell you that Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the
TE Blog to answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!
Still masculine, but on a totally different note - here is the new
Son of the King. In previous releases, we've had feminine versions with
Daughter of the King and
He is God (which starts "You are a princess...") Since my family is full of men and boys, I'm thrilled to have a masculine sentiment.
I kept it as masculine as possible with the Chevron Cutting Plate and the colors. I just put a few pieces back into the chevrons to point to the sentiment. The simple cross is from Little Bits - Cross but since one of the many reasons I adore Taylored Expressions is their Christian stamps and dies - here's a picture with a small portion of my cross collection from TE - any of which can work with this sentiment.
Tomorrow I have super heroes and mushrooms!! Be sure to head over to the
TE Blog for links to the rest of the creative team
and to enter the question of the day contest!

Really love these grill tools. I have the regular tool set and use it often. Works great for masculine cards. Your inspirational cards are so lovely. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the grid design on the first card. All those little die cuts are adorable!! The second card is STUNNING!!
ReplyDeleteWhile I think your first card is wonderful, it's your second card that has captured my heart completely. Definitely masculine, and that sentiment...I love that!! The grays and blues are lovely, but not girly. And those Little Bits Crosses are so perfect. Beautiful card, Kim. And fun card for Father's Day, too. Bev
