Taylored Expressions Release Day: Lots of Fringe

It's here! All of the new products from Taylored Expressions are available! Also be sure to head over to the Taylored Expressions blog for a few more sneak peeks and, if you've been leaving comments, see if you are a winner of the giveaways.

I have two more peeks for you using the new Fringe Border die.  I couldn't decide how to use it so I went two different directions. My first card uses it like a neatly mown lawn.  (I actually started out in green so it was quite clear it was a lawn - but the further that I got with the card, the more I wanted to keep it ivory except for the bunny and the egg.) The egg is from the new Easter Wishes set cut with the Egg Stacklets. I embossed it with white and then used Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. The chocolate bunny is new too - he's the Little Bits - Chocolate Bunny.

The fringe is actually two-sided. I cut each piece in half to create the grass.  It would be fun to keep it together - across the bottom or side of a card with a ribbon - double fringe!!  (If you've been watching the other designers, you've already seen the carrot shaped gift package with the fringe border as greenery - fabulous! If you missed it - check out Kendra's Card Company.)

My second card uses fringe as ... fringe!!  I was thinking of my niece's upcoming 11th birthday. My card for her has to be pink and girly. Last month, Taylored Expressions came out with a stitched, scalloped edge die which I thought would contrast nicely with the fringe. I grabbed a fun sentiment from And Many More to top it off.

In this case, I folded the fringe in half, slightly off-center so the bottom layer showed up a little bit below the top layer.

I hope I've enabled you appropriately!!  Have fun shopping!

Easter Blessings

Since I was watercoloring the egg, I used watercolor paper throughout so that it all matched.  The embossing powder is Wow Calypso.
