It's day 2 of sneak peeks for the August release from Taylored Expressions!! My post has a Southwestern theme and I so love the colors and patterns. There's also a beautiful, layered floral set being showcased by others on the design team. Be sure to check all of the other designers starting on the Taylored Expressions blog because there is just too much for one designer to show off in just a few days.
All the products that I have used are linked at the bottom, but remember that new products aren't live until Thursday, August 6th, 7 a.m. PST.
Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.
The new Southwest Cutting Plate is absolutely stunning. Can you image all you can do with it? Richly sponged backgrounds or you could fill in the pieces with a colored pattern, or I simply went tone on tone and there's still incredible detail.
The sentiment is also from a new set Free Spirit. I love sentiments with mixed fonts - they are so interesting that they can stand alone.
I used another sentiment from Free Spirit on the next card which also shows the new die set Fine Feathers and the new Ikat Embossing Folder for a totally different look.
The feathers are a wonderful die set - small and delicate so I think they are just perfect for a clean "Have Hope" card. I cut them out of Fancy Pants Flutter, a wonderfully textured paper set with bold patterns and solids, which is also available at the TE store. The stitched panel is from the previously released Pockets & Pages - Stitched Essentials die set which is a great collection of basic shapes.
I hope you enjoyed your trip to the Southwest! I hope to see you back tomorrow for a Halloween party. Don't forget to head over to the TE blog to leave a comment for a chance to win and to check out all of the other new release items and design team cards.
