My Favorite Things: Choose Joy with Autumn Colors
I love, love, LOVE autumn colors. (Have I said that dozens of times before?) I had decided to play along with the sketch at My Favorite Things and while digging through my stash of uninked stamps, I saw this charming Sunflower Girl. I was actually making this card yesterday morning and it was unusually gray out and a little rainy. With all of that, my need for rich fall colors went into high gear!
I had also just purchased the MFT Western Borders set so I ignored the pretty scalloped border and added some barnwood!
Also adding to Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge.
If you are in the U.S., I hope you are having a happy and relaxed Labor Day!
An early morning visit to your blog has me starting the day in awe once again! Beautiful card that most definitely captures rich fall colours in a most delightful way. The little girl - adorable! Your papers - especially the barnwood - eye-catching. Kim - another fabulous, amazing piece of art!
ReplyDeleteOoh this is so pretty with the rich colours!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable in her Fall finery! Love these colors!
ReplyDeleteJust darling, Kim - love your little banners! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

Aw, so sweet, Kims, so perfectly executed!
ReplyDeleteI see what you were talking about earlier to me! Congratulations to you, too, for making the WALL OF FAME at ATCAS! Geez, what a huge honor, huh?! I'm thrilled for all of us!! Hugs, Darnell
We have one love in common... other than CAS designs... I also ♥ Fall colors!
ReplyDeleteJust can't figure out why I so seldom use it to make cards!
Inspiring card ... as always Kim!
So pretty, great colouring...love the leaf charm too!!
ReplyDeleteOh these colours have me wanting fall to come so much! Cozy nights by the fireplace inside, crisp cool air out!!! Ahhh my fave time of the year! Beautiful card done to perfection!
ReplyDeleteSimply adorable Kim!!! My new fave from you, love this one to BITS!!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I soooo much loved the 'let's ignore the scalloped border' part!
ReplyDeleteWell as for your card, she's sweet indeed! And the colors you used are rich fall colors and autumn is such a great time of the year, just like winter!
Fall and winter are my favourites!!!
So I can relate to you. :-)
And the tiny golden leave is such a great detail, love it!!!
And the new barnwood stamp is great too! Great choice.
Bye,
