It's day 2 of sneak peeks for the April release from Taylored Expressions!! Today is all about spring flowers, I am showing off two sets were released previously but now there are dies!! (I love stamp sets with dies!)
Be sure to check out all of the other designers starting on the Taylored Expressions blog because there is just too much for one designer to show off in just a few days.
All the products that I have used are linked at the bottom, but remember that new products aren't available until Thursday, April 7, 7 a.m. PST.
Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE blog to answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win a prize from the latest release!
Teacup Bouquet
The previously release Teacup Bouquet is sweet just as it is - but with the new coordinating die, there are so many more options as you can easily add dimension to your card and you plop it on top of patterned paper!
I had adhered the three colored strips of paper (perfect colors, right?!) and it didn't look particularly feminine. So I pulled out Scalloped Eyelet Border just to add a hint of lace.
(Be sure to scroll past this supply list because there's one more card! Remember that links to new products won't work until Thursday.)
Rosy Posey 2
And here's a second previously release stamp set - Rosy Posey - with new dies. It's actually a second set of dies - so let me explain. Here's the stamp set.
The first set of dies - simply called
Rosy Posey dies - cuts the two single flowers and the single leaves. You can do really fun things with that set of dies. The
Rosy Posey gallery has all kinds of great examples. But what about the border of flowers and the branches with leaves? Problem solved! Now there are Rosy Posey Dies 2.
Can I just say I love this sentiment - I love the meaning behind and the various fonts. I used it even though I knew that it refers to a "single rose" and I added an entire border of roses! Hopefully when the recipient won't pick up on that!!
Did you notice the embossing folder? It's the coordinating Rosy Posey Embossing Folder. It's a great addition to the set and with its simple roses, it would work for many other cards.
Dies add so much dimension. Forgive my coloring on this one. Two of these markers badly need to be replaced because they are too dry to blend well, but I didn't realize it in time to be able to order them for this card.
Be sure to come back tomorrow. It might be a little "grumpy" around here!!
Both so beautiful Kim! The quotes and flowers are wonderful.
