In my world, I am surrounded by men and boys. When I started stamping, I had young sons who actually enjoyed getting cards, and my husband has saved everything that I have given him. So my stash of masculine images is quite extensive. I went a couple of different directions today.
My first card relies on a masculine image and a bold sentiment...
- Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps Bot Time
- Paper: Stampin' Up Taken with Teal
- Ink: Memento Black, Copics
- Accessories: Sizzix Sizzlit Congrats Die, Ranger Glossy Accents, Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder, various glitter pens
You're My Whole World
- Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps Good Point, Words to Live By
- Paper: Papertrey Summer Sunrise, Stampin' Up Island Indigo
- Ink: Papertrey Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, Limeade Ice; Stampin' Up Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade
- Accessories: misc buttons and twine

the little robot is so cute and I LOVE you arrow cards!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute robot card. Love both of the arrow cards!
ReplyDeleteYour robot is so cute and your arrow cards are amazing. So fun how just the change of colors can make it either masculine or feminine. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't been by to visit is so long and wanted to see if the fires were near to you. I'm so glad they aren't.
ReplyDeleteI love this robot card and how you've pieced him. How fun! And it's amazing how big a difference color can make to the same design!
These made me smile! Love that cute little robot!
ReplyDeleteKim - You are amazing, as always. I love, love, love all three of your cards. Love the color swaps.
ReplyDeleteThis little robot is adorable, Kim ... love how you've 'dressed' him with chest lights, blue eyes, glossy accents and stickles. These arrow cards are so brilliant ... love the colours in each one ... such inspiration! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCatching up on some of your fabulous cards and wow - what a treasure here! How cute (ummm, dashing) that robot is with his quirky look and bits of bling. Sweet! The other two are excellent, in both versions! Inspiration,+++
ReplyDeleteAs for Castle - Nathan Fillion is from my home city of Edmonton. I had the honour of teaching with Nathan's dad years ago; like father, like son - delightful and quite hilarious! I remember the couple of times when Nathan visited (during his soap opera role days), the line of girls floating behind him was waaaayyyy too cute! He is a charmer for sure; boy-next-door handsome and a totally 100% nice guy!
The robot card is cute but I LOVE the graphic, fun look of the arrow cards!!!
