Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Icicle

It's time for a new challenge at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Icicle.

kidscraftroom.com

I didn't have any need for true icicles (or snowflakes or anything cold) - but I thought I could use the silver and blue sparkle on a celebration card.  I didn't end up with silver and blue.

CC Celebrate

I started the card with blue stars, but I just kept thinking about the Dallas Cowboys football team.  I have nothing against the Dallas Cowboys (unless they are playing my Broncos) but "football" isn't the point of the card so I just couldn't finish it with the blue.  I pulled out gold - and am hoping that the sparkle is enough inspiration from the photo!!

  1. Your card is a marvelous translation of the inspiration word/photo...and most important, you have a purpose for it! Someone will be smiling brightly when your glittery, shimmery, classy card appears in their mailbox...

  2. I love the pretty silver sentiment on this. I also like that you used the negative and added the fun stars as the centers for the b and the a. Great design!!

  5. Being a Packers' fan, I'm really glad you exchanged the blue for gold! This is a great take on the icicle theme. The glittery paper is just right for sparkly icicles. It's perfectly CAS, too! Wonderful card for many occasions! Love it. Bev
