Freshly Made Sketches: Prayers & Hugs

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by...me!!

And here's my card....

FMS Prayers & Hugs

This sketch and card is a real lesson in how many different ways you can use a single sketch. When I create a sketch, I make very certain that I can actually use the sketch - that it doesn't stump me. Typically I create the card first, then draw the sketch. At the beginning of this month, I posted a card for an entirely different reason. I decided that I really liked it and created the sketch, knowing that I would have to make a new card specifically for FMS - but that I could use the same concept with a few tweaks. I don't know what happened but today's card couldn't be more different from the original. Check these out; same basic layout, totally different cards!!

And that is the reason that I LOVE sketches - and without a doubt, Freshly Made Sketches are the best sketches out there!!

I hope to see you playing along!

  4. Hello Kim: I was wondering if you have noticed that there is something weird going on with the FMS page today, the whole page is gray, nothing is showing on the sides and all I can see are the cards posted by the DT and a few at the bottom from the entries. There is no link either to upload cards.
I hope this can be fixed, so we don't miss on a great sketch.
    Thank you.
    Maria Rodriguez.
