Freshly Made Sketches: Flowers in Blue

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Jen Mitchell!

I needed a thank you card for a lady who I don't know well, but I spent an afternoon in her home at a seminar.  I took my cues for this card from her home.  Blue seemed to be her favorite color (although clearly I went aqua).  And there were definitely flowers.  I also was very literal with the sentiment in Jen's sketch - but the lady to whom I am sending this was particularly organized with everything labelled - so the label sentiment was also  perfect.

I wasn't sure that I was totally happy with the card above, so I tried a few others.  I ended up deciding the aqua flowers were my favorite of the cards - but I wanted to show a few others.  There's nothing particularly unique about this next card.  But it does use lovely images and it is absolutely perfect for the dear lady to whom it will be sent.  If you look closely, I did add some dots of Stickles so there is a hint of sparkle.

FMS Thoughts and Prayers

My final card grew out of my sudden realization that I haven't done a Christmas card in about six months.  I'm further behind than ever before.  So here's a quick and easy Christmas wreath!

FMS Merry Christmas

I hope to see you playing along this week!  There are so many different options for the shape in Jen's sketch!
