Freshly Made Sketches 198: Thanks

It's time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Today we have a sketch by Cindy Lovell!

I had a lot of false starts with this one.  It's not the sketch's fault - I just struggle with tilted things!! It's funny how we all have our bug-a-boos - a large chunk of the FMS team gets stressed out over circles on the sketch.  I happen to love circles, but tip a panel even just a little bit and I'm blocked.  In the midst of my stress, I got an order from Lil' Inkers that included the "thanks" word die which is in such a fabulous font - I decided simply to showcase it. I just layered up a pretty piece of paper and some coordinating cardstock - and plopped the "thanks" on it!

FMS Thanks

Have fun with this one!!  And mark your calendars for the big day.  Help us celebrate out 200th sketch and also earn a chance at one of the many, many sponsored prizes!

SUPPLY LIST

The lighter peach is the retired Stampin' Up cardstock Crisp Cantaloupe.  The patterned piece comes from We R Memory Chalkboard 6x6 pad which is very difficult to find.  It's one of my favorite pads in recent years so I've been running out, but I just found one at Amazon and I've also found individual sheets at Frantic Stamper.

  3. I'm with you, Kim: tilted is daunting. Even so, you've created a card that is ever so pretty: the colours, and especially the floral papers, are perfect backdrops for your new thanks die. Inspired and inspiring!
